Legend eighth
... about a giant Rufabgo and a brave young man Khadzhokh.
If you rise upwards on current of the brook Rufabgo, you'll see a large stone which partitioned the brook. People call this stone "The Heart of a Giant" and the legend about it they have combined many years ago. In old times the giant Rufabgo, by name, lived in these places. He had an unusual force. All neighbouring grounds belonged to him.
Many years he dominated above the people, this severe giant. Every autumn he required sacrifices - the most beautiful girls. And the young men decided to kill him but they didn't know how. Then the Dzhigit Khadzhokh went to a wise man Mezmay. The old man told the young man: "It is very difficult to kill Rufabgo. Even if you manage to finish with him in some hours he'll be alive again. It is necessary to pull out his heart and throw it very far. Many years I searched for a means which can kill the giant, but I has only found such means that can make him blind". Having told it, Mezmay has given Khadzokh a small knap - sack from leather with a magic powder.
The Dzhigit called the giant for battle. And when Rufabgo threw on him with huge sword, Khadzokh determined the direction of a wind he poured contents of the knap-sack. The wind has carried a small grey cloud to a giant and it dusted the giant's eyes. Then he blinded. As a whirlwind Khadzhokh has flown on the giant and has chopped off his head. Then he cut with a sword the giant's breast and pulled out his heart. By a huge flow black blood of the giant has rushed and carried to the river. Khadzhokh threw the heart of Rufabgo.
It has fallen, having blocked ways to a flow of blood. The Earth has parted, having formed a deep and narrow gorge and heart of a malicious giant has turned to a huge stone. And in order not to forget this event, the brook named as Rufabgo and the stone as the Heart of a Giant.
