Ч1 ч1 ч1ы – Has no equivalent in English. This is a forelingual, abruptive, sibilant afficate. To pronounce the sound, the vocal cords merge together at the beginning and then open at the end producing a noise. This sound is more tense than voiced and voiceless sibilant affricates:
